Karlene Reid, originally from Hokitika, joined our Ashburton office in February 2000 as a graduate of Canterbury University, where she completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Diploma in Accounting, Finance & Information Systems. Karlene has since done further studies, and is currently close to achieving her Chartered Accountants qualification.
In her spare time Karlene enjoys mountain biking, going to the movies and socialising with friends and family.

Sarah was born in Christchurch and lived there until moving to Hinds in February 2007. After finishing school in 1999 she worked for six years in an Accountancy firm whilst completing Arts and Commerce degrees at the University of Canterbury. After 8 months working in the UK and travelling around Europe she returned to New Zealand to complete her Chartered Accountancy qualifications.
Sarah is a mum to little Niamh and when she has spare time, enjoys reading, playing touch rugby and twilight netball.

Debbie began working as a junior accounts clerk when she left school in 1997. After completing four years at university, she began working full time as an accountant. Debbie is in the process of achieving her Chartered Accountants qualification with NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants . Debbie came to work for Leech & Partners Ltd in May 2005.
Debbie's interests include aerobics, kickboxing and watching scary movies.

Born in Christchurch, Stephen was educated at St Bedes College and later gained his Bachelor of Commerce and Management degree at Lincoln University in 1994. From there he started work with an accountancy firm on the wild West Coast before coming back over the hill to Ashburton. He joined Perpetual Trust and transferred to Leech & Partners Ltd when they purchased the accounting business. Stephen has had a wide exposure to all types of accounting work, with farming and business accounting being a particular emphasis.
His personal interests include playing rugby, reading and model-making.

Kelly is one of our Senior Client Managers who has been with the Firm for several years. She is a local who grew up in the rural village of Mayfield. Kelly and her husband Rodney have recently built a home in a new sub-division in Tinwald,
Kelly is a first time mum to wee Tegan and when she funds the time enjoys gardening, walking and looking after her many pets that include cats, dogs and horses.

David has worked for Leech & Partners Ltd since 1st July 2004 having previously been with Pyne Gould Corporation for 12 years in the accounting division.
David has recently returned from Canada and has also travelled to Africa.
He enjoys rugby, horse racing and the beautiful golf courses!!

Amy was born and bred in Ashburton and is engaged to Leon. Amy recently completed studies to enable her to become a Provisional Member (Accounting Technician) of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants. Her role includes GST return preparation, payroll and financial statements.
Amy has two children - Kaleb and Sabastyan and her interests include netball, watching rugby and spending time with her family.

Jenny was brought up on a farm at Pleasant Point where she attended her schooling. She left school to work as an Office Junior but soon followed her parents to Ashburton, where she has worked at Leech & Partners Ltd for nearly two decades, the last 10 years working part time while raising her three children - Abbey, Kate and James. While working Jenny has completed a Bachelor in Business through the Open Polytechnic of NZ and became a Chartered Accountant with NZICA.
Jenny also finds time to do the paperwork for her and husband David's painting business.

Pauline joined the Ashburton Team as a Client Manager in May 2004. Originally from a farming background in sunny Alexandra, Pauline worked in the electricity industry for 18 years before the shift north. Pauline is a Member of NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants after gaining her Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) membership.
Married to Richard, they have a young school aged daughter, Shania. Pauline enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening and enjoying her husband's passion for drag-racing (the car variety!!)

Michael commenced employment with Pyne Gould Guinness in 1977. At the end of 1982 he applied for leave and was granted one year to travel overseas. After arriving home again he transferred to the PGG Trustee Company, Perpetual Trust, and was employed as a farm accountant.
Michael is married with three children and this partly explains his grey hair starting to show!! He enjoys sport, especially hockey, squash, fishing in the summer and snow skiing in the winter.

Natasha is originally from Fiji and now resides in Ashburton with her husband, Faheem. Natasha joined Leech & Partners Ltd in February 2008 and is currently completing her Bachelor of Business Studies - majoring in Accountancy - through Massey University.
In her spare time, Natasha enjoys being with her family and friends in New Zealand and overseas, playing tennis and going to the movies.

Megan has lived in Methven most of her life and joined Leech & Partners Ltd in December 2007 as a computer operator. Soon after a vacancy arose and Megan transferred her talents into the accounting arena. Megan has several years administrative and accountancy experience.
Married to Jason, they recently built a new home in Methven. Megan enjoys skiing, netball and touch rugby.

Abbey is from a farming background in the Mid Canterbury area and joined Leech & Partners Ltd in January 2009. Abbey completed a Commerce Degree in AgriBusiness and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting at Lincoln University in 2007.
Abbey enjoys riding her beautiful horses, relaxing with yoga and loves being in the great outdoors with her partner, Stuart.

Originally from Ashburton, Penny had been travelling overseas for four years prior to joining Leech & Partners Ltd in 2008. She has now returned to Methven with her partner, Busty. Having worked in the Customer Service Industry for the past eight years, Penny enjoys her role as Receptionist.
Outside of work, Penny enjoys snowboarding, waterskiing, wakeboarding, playing hockey and socialising.

Adelle is originally from Ashburton and after living in Timaru and Christchurch she returned to Ashburton and joined Leech & Partners Ltd as the Receptionist. After another staff member left the area, Adelle stepped into the role of Computer Operator.
Outside of work Adelle enjoys spending time with her family camping and fishing along with the never ending job of building a new home.

Jacinda is mum to primary school aged Adam. She also is no stranger to Leech & Partners Ltd having first joined the firm in Ashburton in 1988. After nine years she left for an overseas experience in Australia. Jacinda has nearly 20 years administration experience in the accountancy profession and is Assistant to Chris Heffernan with his pension transfer work.
Jacinda enjoys spending her free time with Adam and getting into the garden.
