This Seminar was a chance to get quality information from specialists in the rural, commercial and investment property sectors, taxation, ACC, income protection insurance and an economy perspective. Guest speakers at this seminar were:
- Michael Coote (Tower Asset Management). Mr Coote commented on the state of the economy. He writes articles for the National Business Review and was a very entertaining presenter;
- Shane O'Brien (Director of Bayleys Real Estate). Mr O'Brien discussed the health of the rural property sector and he regularly presents to industry groups and banking corporations;
- Ann Hodgson (Business Relationship Manager for ACC). Ms Hodgson provided information on the different ACC products available for self employed business people;
- Jason Kilworth (Director of Kilworth Financial Ltd). Mr Kilworth presented information on income protection insurance and how this relates to ACC;
- Chris Heffernan (Director of Leech & Partners Ltd). Mr Heffernan gave an update on recent taxation changes.

The Seminar went over the views from the above speakers on the economy, investment, taxation, the legal position on debt and the risks faced by business and business owners during these challenging times.
