Nick joined us in 2009 following two years working in London. Prior to this Nick worked for a “Big Four” accounting practice in Christchurch dealing with small and medium sized businesses and specialising in Agribusiness. Having gained his degree and post graduate degree at the University of Canterbury, he was admitted to the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants as a Chartered Accountant in 2006.
Originally from Mid Canterbury, Nick grew up on the family farm before moving to Christchurch to study. He is passionate about New Zealand agriculture and enjoys working with his clients at a grass roots level to help them grow and develop their business. Nick balances this passion with a commercial client base and deals in all aspects of accounting, tax compliance, budgeting and forecasting, management accounting and has a particular interest in succession planning.
Nick is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Primary Industry Management, Canterbury Young Professionals, the Treasurer of the French Farm Aquatic Club and serves on the Horse Committee of the Canterbury A & P Association. Away from the office Nick enjoys travelling and spends much of his summer on the water sailing, while in the winter he heads for the ski slopes.
