2012 Relay for Life

Leech & Partners are one of over 60 teams participating in the 2012 Relay for Life, held in Ashburton over the weekend of  the 24 - 25 March 2012. Staff at Leech & Partners have created several initiatives to raise funds for the Cancer Society with the Company matching all funds raised, dollar for dollar. Therapy in the Saddle

Every year Leech & Partners donates money to four charities as part of their christmas gift. This year the Riding for the Disabled in Ashburton was one of the lucky recipients. Women in Accounting

Leech & Partners have recently had four of their staff pass exams on their way to becoming Chartered Accountants. This along with a female head of accounting, signals a shift in the traditionally male dominated occupation. Debbie Crawford passed her professional examinations and will soon become a Chartered Accountant. Rachel Scott, Amy McIntyre and Adelle Wrigley passed their foundation examinations which is part of the process toward becoming a Chartered Accountant. The large number of staff members passing exams is a demonstration of the succesful training programme in place at Leech & Partners. This reflects not only the high calibre of staff members but also the high quality of their client base, which is growing and requiring more from their accountants. Read more

 

Ashburton's new office

On the 1st July 2011 Leech & Partners staff, clients and members of the community celebrated the opening of our brand new office on Level 1 of Somerset House, located at 161 Burnett Street. The staff are enjoying their fantastic new surroundings and clients are continuing to comment on the great environment that Leech & Partners have proudly created. Read more

 

Resilience - Beating the odds for earthquake survival

The Champion Canterbury Awards celebrated business excellence, passion and success within the Canterbury region, with this year's event foccussing on those businesses who strived to get Christchurch back on its feet following the Canterbury earthquakes. The focus was on resilience, creativity and leadership within the business community. We, here at Leech & Partners, were proud to receive a Resilience award. Along with CTV, Sanford Industries, The Press and Canterbury University, we were acknowledged for our efforts at beating the odds for earthquake survival. Read more
