Our colleagues at the major accounting software firms have made some great updates to their software this quarter to streamline functionality and make life easier.
Xero
Xero has introduced a refreshed navigation in its Accounting app, designed to make it quicker and easier to find what you need. The update includes a simplified menu, clearer layout, and improved access to key features like invoices, bills, and contacts. You’ll also notice small changes such as “Dashboard” being renamed to “Home,” a new menu replacing contacts, and a relocated “create new” button for faster transaction entry. In addition, Xero now allows you to include supporting documents as attachments when emailing invoices, quotes, and other transactions to customers, helping streamline communication and reduce follow-up queries.
Farm Focus
Farm Focus are offering a deal to new subscriptions for contract milkers being $1 per day for the first two years. That is a 72% discount on the normal subscription price. Some of our newer Leech & Partners clients have taken up this offer and are really enjoying what Farm Focus has to offer, citing benefits like the initial training provided by Farm Focus and the availability of the 0800 number when they need further assistance. Figured are in the middle of a series of roadshows around the country. The team appear to be working hard to roll out and enhance their offering to their Agri clients. This includes hedging options for dairy farmers, new funding options for sharemilkers, and new reporting options (both within the business and comparing your business to other) for those that like to analysis their numbers.
