Our colleagues at Farm Focus and Xero have made some great updates to their software this quarter to streamline functionality and make life easier.
Xero
Analytics powered by Syft: This exciting update gives you access to clear, visual insights through graphs and dashboards. You can now view a detailed snapshot of your cash position and forecast cash flow up to 180 days, helping you plan ahead with confidence.
Purchase Orders: The purchase order list has been upgraded with a new, more flexible layout, allowing you to edit and rearrange fields to suit your workflow. Additionally, a new compact view option lets you see more information on one screen, improving efficiency.
Bills: Xero has streamlined the process for entering bills by making automated options easier to find and select — saving time, improving accuracy, and reducing manual data entry.
Xero Accounting App: You can now add bills quickly in the Xero Accounting app by taking a photo or uploading a file from your mobile device. Xero will automatically create a draft bill with key details populated and the source document attached.

Boost Efficiency with Farm Focus on Your Mobile
Farm Focus is fully mobile-responsive, so you can manage invoices, transactions, coding rules, and more without being tied to your computer. To make access even faster, add Farm Focus to your home screen. On Apple devices, log in at farmfocus.nz, tap the Share icon, and select Add to Home Screen. For Android, log in, tap the three dots menu, and choose Add to Home Screen. With this shortcut, you can handle daily tasks anytime, anywhere—right from your phone.
Connect Farm Focus to DairyBase for Smarter Benchmarking
Farm Focus now integrates with DairyNZ’s DairyBase, making it easier to keep your benchmarking data accurate and up to date. By connecting your subscription, key performance indicators like wages, animal health, and feed totals are shared automatically—no detailed coding or personal data included. This reduces manual entry, improves insights, and helps you make better financial and management decisions. Setup is simple via Settings > Connectors > DairyBase, and you only need to authorise once.
